i went to a water park today. it was super fun, partly because for the first time in my life i went on two water slides, which is like, totally unheard of for me to do. ever. also because i got checked out a couple times, once by this ridiculously hot male. asdfghjkl he made me want to do crazy dances out of perverted happiness. i looked absolutely fabulous in my black swimsuit (after all, what other color would i wear on a sunny day in phoenix?) XD just how i roll. i had so much fun, though. oh heavens, so much fun. :’) i’m so glad that my last day of being fourteen was so good.

speaking of which, being fourteen was pretty marvelous. i liked it a lot. and now i’ll be fifteen, which i hope is just as great. 

when i was eleven, i remember thinking, “i wonder if i’ll have a boyfriend when i’m fifteen. i bet i will.” *daydreams about stepping out of a horse-carriage, taking the hand of a smiling boy my age*

….four years later.

i told my dad earlier about the fact that i was hoping to come into direct contact with a boy my age before my fifteenth birthday, but that ended up not happening today. i realized afterwards how it sounds remarkably like a toned-down version of the movie submarine. see, i’m trying to come into close contact, not lose my virginity. oh, teenage life.

i came up with a poetic thing the other day. i’m pretty proud of it.

apathy is god’s greatest dream,

achieved.

ah, i’m going to be famous someday. probably not as a poet, since my poetry was not particularly plath-worthy, but still.
